Obituary of Bernadette English

Bernadette "Berni" English, passed away on September 8, 2025, at AtlanticCare Medical Center in Atlantic City, NJ. She was born in 1949 to the late Ben and Mae Ronchetti. She graduated from Vineland High School in 1967 and then attended the Vineland Beauty Academy, graduating in 1968. She worked for Tony Musto's Hair Salon and then went on to work at Bonton where she finally retired. Berni faced many challenges throughout her life, but she met each one with strength and unwavering determination. She persevered and lived life to the fullest of her abilities, never allowing obstacles to diminish her spirit. Berni found joy in spending many years in Ocean City on the beach and boardwalk, enjoying lunches with family and friends, and sharing her passion for hair and makeup with her great-nieces. Her beloved dog Ava was always by her side, a constant source of comfort and companionship. Berni was endlessly generous, offering her love, time and wisdom without hesitation. She was someone you could confide in without fear, always ready to listen with an open heart. Berni fought hard through life's trials, and she loved even harder- leaving behind a legacy of resilience, kindness and deep love. She will be greatly missed by her sisters, Addie Bracco and Susan Nanni, who she constantly kept reminding them that they were older than her; her husband Spike English; her stepchildren and their families; many nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, and especially the retailers where she frequently shopped, Macys, HSN and QVC. A funeral home visitation will be held on Saturday, September 13th from 9am to 11am followed by a funeral service beginning at 11am from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
