Mauro "Mike" Conte, 65, of Vineland, NJ, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Born on June 10, 1960, in San Tomasso, Italy, Mauro immigrated to the United States with his family in 1970, settling in Boston, Massachusetts, before moving to Vineland, New Jersey, in 1974. In 1978, he co-owned Conte's Restaurant with his siblings, Claudio and Lucia, and in 1990, he founded Conte's Pasta. Mauro was known for his entrepreneurial spirit, dedication to his craft, and the joy he brought to his work.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mauro was a passionate marathon runner, an avid collector of luxury cars, and a devoted traveler who loved experiencing the world's beauty.

He is survived by his children, Anna (Conte) Ciancaglini (Matthew) and Gabriel Conte; his siblings, Camillo Conte (Maritza) and Lucia (Conte) Levin (Murray) and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Mario Conte, and mother, Angiolina Conte.

A funeral home visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 19th from 9am to12pm followed by a funeral service at 12pm from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in St Mary's Cemetery, Vineland.
