Obituary of Antonio Caione

Antonio "Tony" Caione, 82, of Vineland, New Jersey, passed away on July 26, 2025, at Inspira Medical Center. Born on October 21, 1942, in Troia (FG), Italy, Antonio was the beloved son of Pasquale Caione and Filomena Veneziano. At the tender age of eight, Antonio began working as a barber - a profession he continued throughout his life. Beyond his skills with scissors and razors, Tony was a talented drummer and played in a band in Philadelphia for many years. His passions extended to the racetrack, the thrill of Atlantic City, playing billiards, and savoring home-cooked meals. However, the greatest joy in Tony's life was the time he spent with his family, especially his five grandchildren, who were the light of his life. Known for his ability to make everyone smile and lighten up any gathering, Tony will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Antonio is survived by his loving wife, Antonietta, of Vineland, NJ; his son, Pasquale Caione, and daughter-in-law, Colleen Caione, of Philadelphia, PA; his daughter, Filomena Infranco, and son-in-law, Paul Infranco of Longport, NJ; his sister, Maria Randazzo; and his cherished grandchildren, Paul and Anthony Infranco and Alexander, Olivia and Ella Caione. He also leaves behind numerous cherished nieces and nephews. Antonio was preceded in death by his father, Pasquale Caione; his mother, Filomena Veneziano; his brothers, Vincenzo and Giovanni Caione; and his sister, Rosina Bellochio. A church visitation will be held on Monday, August 4, 2025, from 9:15am to 11:15am followed by a funeral mass at 11:30 am from Saint Padre Pio Parish - Church Of Our Lady Of Pompeii, 4680 Dante Avenue, Vineland officiated by Rev Joseph Ganiel, Pastor of Saint Padre Pio Parish. Entombment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Newfield.
