Obituary of Phyllis V. DeRossi

Phyllis V. DeRossi, 92, of Milmay, NJ passed away peacefully on July 13. 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Phyllis was born on December 8, 1932, to the late Matthew Travaglio and Victoria (Romanini) Satiri. She grew up in Richland and graduated from Vineland High School in 1950. Phyllis married Thomas DeRossi, Jr, in 1954 and they purchased a home in Buena, NJ where they raised three children, Bryan, Elizabeth and Dawn. Phyllis enjoyed being a part of a bowling league, attending monthly gatherings with the Birthday Club and barbecuing with her neighbors. Phyllis worked at the Richland Post Office, South Jersey Clothing Co. in Minotola, NJ and retired from Richland Glass in Vineland, NJ in 2009. Phyllis moved to Cranberry Run in 1988 where she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading books (Danielle Steel was her favorite author), doing puzzles, going to the casino and having weekend Saturday night dinners with her sister. Phyllis is survived by her daughter Dawn Boyle (Jimi) of Milmay, NJ where she lived for the last three years; and her son Bryan DeRossi (Lisa) of Blackwood, NJ. Phyllis is also survived by her six grandchildren, Victoria DeRossi, Aidan Boyle, Lucas Boyle, Matthew DeRossi (Sara), Justin DeRossi (Lindsey) and Breanna DeRossi; two great grandchildren, Valentina DeRossi, Anthony DeRossi and her nieces and nephews. She will also be greatly missed by her grand furbabies; Ollie and Bella. Phyllis was predeceased by parents, former husband Thomas DeRossi, Jr; daughter Elizabeth V. DeRossi; sister Marie Petrini, and son-in-law Robert Cook Jr. Donations in memory of Phyllis may be made to: NJ Health Hospice and Palliative Care, 415 W.
