Judith Trasferini Obituary

Judith Ellen (Bell) Trasferini, 81, of the Forest Grove section of Franklin Township, went home to be with the Lord on June 1st at Inspira Medical Center after an extended illness.

Judy was born in Queens, NY and resided in Long Island, NY until moving to Vineland as a teenager where she graduated from Vineland High School in 1960. Judy was Miss Vineland 1961 and the Centennial Queen of the City's 100th year celebration.

Judy was a homemaker and centered her life around raising her family, devotion to the Roman Catholic Church, and service to her community. When she wasn't volunteering her time and talents, Judy enjoyed socializing with friends, dancing, cooking, baking, sewing, and reading. She loved sharing her recipes with anyone who asked. Judy was very patriotic and worked in the election polls for many decades. She was a lover of nature, especially backyard birds, and had an affection for cats and dogs. Her greatest joy in life was caring for and fawning over her two grandsons.

Judy's true passion was singing and sharing her voice with others. She was often requested to sing for weddings and funerals. Judy sang at Our Lady of Victories Church for over 30 years and was a member of the Vineland Singing Ambassadors for over 25 years.

Judy is survived by her husband of 63 years, Richard; sons Richard and Christopher; daughter and son-in-law, Tricia and Bill Serad, and the two loves of her life, grandsons Aidan and Nate Serad. Judy is also survived by her sister, Carolyn Eldridge and brother and sister-in-law, Alan and Denise Bell, all of Florida. Judy was a beloved aunt, cousin, neighbor, and friend to many. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Frances Bell and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Peter and Carmella Trasferini.

The family would like to extend their thanks to Judy's caregiver, Ramona Colon, and the ICU nurses at Inspira Medical Center.

A church visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th from 9:15am to 11:15am followed by a funeral mass at 11:30 am from Our Lady Of The Blessed Sacrament - Church Of St. Michael, 504 West Avenue, Minotola. Interment will follow in Our Lady Of Victories Cemetery, Landisville.
