Obituary of Brian Leonard

Brian Jay Leonard was born February 29, 1952, in Weatherford, OK, to Roy James Leonard and Alice Eilene (Johnson) Leonard and passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025, in Vineland, New Jersey, at the age of 73. Brian graduated from Weatherford High School in 1970 and attended Southwestern State College where he earned a B.S. degree in education in 1974. Brian taught High School Science in Hammon, OK, Pawhusha, OK, and Pennsville, NJ until he retired in 2020. Brian was also a very talented artist. Survivors include his brother, Steve Leonard and wife, Rebecca of Weatherford, OK; sister, Janice Leonard, of Las Vegas, NV, his aunt, Mary Ann Johnson, of Duke, OK; as well as 8 nieces, one nephew and several cousins. Brian was predeceased by his parents; his grandparents; one brother and several aunts and uncles. A funeral home visitation will be held on Friday, May 16th from 9am to 10am followed by a funeral service at 10am from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
