Obituary of Marcia Amici

It is with great sadness that the family of Marcia J. Amici announces her passing on January 20, 2025. Marcia was born on April 19, 1957, to the late Jeano and Pearl (Lamonica) Amici. Marcia graduated from Vineland High School in 1975 and went on to receive a B.A. in Elementary Education at West Liberty University, class of 1979. She then received her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education in 1982 from Marshall University. Marcia was a Workforce Service representative at Virginia Employment Commission from March 1983 until she retired. She then moved from Virginia back to Vineland NJ, where she spent many years until the last years of her life in Tennessee. Marcia was an avid animal lover, collector of Lighthouses, and enjoyed golf and baseball. She was a drummer and enjoyed all genres of music, especially BJ Thomas. Marcia is predeceased by her parents, Jeano and Pearl Amici. She is survived by her brother, Richard Amici, her niece, Mariette Amici, her nephew, Christopher Amici, her nephew and Godson, Jesse Amici, and her sister-in-law, Sherry Ambrosini, as well as many cousins. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and pets. A funeral home visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 11pm to 12:30pm followed by a funeral service at 12:30 pm from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Entombment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
