It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Salvador Acosta, also known as "Sammy", with his loving wife by his side on May 2, 2025. He was born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico. Sammy was known for his kindness, love of cars, but most of all the love he had for his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Carmen Andujar; his son Angelo Badias; daughter Jazmine Acosta-Vidro; son-in-law Christopher Vidro; grandchildren Jazmari Vidro, Samuel Vidro, and many brothers and sisters. He was predeceased by his parents Rudolfo and Aurora Acosta and his son Sammy Acosta.
Sammy leaves behind many cherished memories to all that knew him with his kind smile and firm handshake before offering you a drink of choice followed by a shot.
A funeral home visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8th from 10am to 11am followed by a funeral service at 11am from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Friends and family can gather to remember his amazing life and pay their final respects. Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
