August "Augie" F. Merighi passed away at home at the age of 61 on April 26, 2025. Augie was born to August and Eleanor Merighi in 1964.

In his early years he was an athlete that enjoyed playing football for the Buena Braves, baseball, and wrestling. He was a graduate of Buena Regional High School, class of 1982. He worked for Local #172 Laborer's Union for twelve years, and for the last twenty-five years he was a member of the Operating Engineer's Union, Local #825. Augie was a hard worker; he never missed a day of work. He was a member of Grasso's Muddy Bucks Gun Club, where he enjoyed watching football and hanging out with friends.

Augie is survived by his father, August Merighi; his two sisters Julie Mendini and Sandra Abballe (Mauro). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Valerie, AJ, Stephanie, Nicholas, Brianna, Dominique, and Jenna, as well as his nine great nieces and nephews. Augie is predeceased by his mother, Eleanor Merighi and sister, Gina Merighi.

A church visitation will be held on Friday, May2, 2025 from 9:15am to 11:15am followed by a funeral mass at 11:30 pm from Our Lady Of The Blessed Sacrament - Church Of St. Michael, 504 West Avenue, Minotola. Inurnment will follow in Our Lady Of Victories Cemetery, Landisville.
