Obituary of Osvaldo Perez

Osvaldo "Ozzie" Perez March 28, 1936 - March 27, 2025 We are deeply sadden and heartbroken as we announce the passing of Osvaldo "Ozzie" Perez, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Ozzie passed away peacefully after a brief illness surrounded by his family and loved ones on March 27, 2025, one day shy of his 89th birthday. Born in Cuba on March 28, 1936, Ozzie immigrated to the United States in 1971 with his wife and two young sons, leaving behind his immediate family and loved ones in search of a better life and greater opportunities for his children. Soon after arriving to the Vineland area, Ozzie established A & A TV Service where he took pride in his craftsmanship and strong work ethic. After closing his business, he went on to work with Belco Electronics, from where he proudly retired after several decades of service. His life was guided by his deep faith in his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and he found joy in life's simple yet meaningful moments-playing dominos, camping with family, and hosting lively gatherings filled with love and laughter. Ozzie is survived by his devoted wife and life partner, Carmen Gonzalez; his children Sam (Shirley) Perez, Carlos (Erica) Perez, Evelyn (Raid) Elhamawi, Jasmine (George) Gonzalez; as well as 13 beloved grandchildren and many cherished great-grandchildren. His kindness, generosity, and loving spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him and earned the admiration of all who called him a friend. He treasured nothing more than time spent with his family and close friends. His legacy of love, faith, humility and kindness will forever be carried in the hearts of everyone that knew him. A church visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 1st from 9am to 10:45am followed by a funeral mass at 11am from Divine Mercy Parish, 23 West Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
