The loss of a husband and father is very hard at any age! I know because I lost my father when I was in 5th grade. I remember your husband and your father. He was a very good provider for his family. I remember when he remodeled the home you were living in on Artic Ave. to make room for his growing family. I would often go over to your home and have memories of being happy, especially when invited to have desert, even though you had many children of your own, I was always welcomed. He would always have something to say, a joke or a comment. I would hear him singing to his wife through the house and Diane and I would giggle. I always appreciated being welcomed. I always enjoy hearing Diane giggle. Diane was my first friend from the neighborhood and school. Diane, Tommy, my brother and I spent many hours playing school and games together on Artic Ave. My brother and I were still children when my father died and we moved away. It has always bothered me that life has gotten in the way of keeping in touch especially after Tommy passed. I always enjoyed seeing Tommy’s’ smile and giggle too. I just want you to know that I will always have a special place in my heart for all of you. Peace be with you, In Sincere Sympathy, Elisa Nichols
