Anthony "Tony" Giglio, 75, of Spring Hill FL passed away Monday July 27th at Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville FL.
Born and raised in Vineland, he spent most of his life building and operating the family business Pete's Gun Shop founded in 1937, and then creating his own successful extension PGS Co. Inc. located in Pietro's Plaza in which he owned.
Tony was well known and remembered for his service to the hunting, archery and gun community as well as his presence in the custom car, street rod & hot rod community. He also loved spending weekends boating on the Maurice River, crabbing and traveling in his RV. He was also members of the NRA and NHRA.
He is survived by his wife Claudia Giglio of Spring Hill FL; son Anthony T. Giglio of Spring Hill FL; daughter-in-law Melanie Giglio; grandsons, Anthony P. Giglio and Deegan Giglio; granddaughter's, CharleyRose Giglio and Giavonna Giglio; great- granddaughter Cole Anne Giglio; niece Karen D'Ottavio; nephew Bruce D'Ottavio (Angela); and his brother-in-law Albert D'Ottavio; great-niece Lauren D'Ottavio; cousin Eileen Collini; many other family and friends and his precious dog, Chili. Tony was predeceased by his parents Peter and Catherine (Greco) Giglio; grandson Gaven Giglio and his sister Janice D'Ottavio
A funeral home visitation will be on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 from 9am to 11am followed by a funeral service beginning at 11am from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 E. Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Final disposition will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, everyone is required to wear a mask and practice social distancing by 6ft.
