Obituary of Louis Montresor

Louis Montresor passed away peacefully Friday evening surrounded by his family at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia. Louis was born in Vineland, and was a lifelong resident. He attended the Vineland school system. He is a past member of the North Italy Club in Vineland. Louis was a volunteer fireman with the South Vineland Fire Co. for the past 50 years, beginning in 1957. He was also a past president of the South Vineland Fire Co. # 2 and was a member of the Firemans Exempt organization. An active member of St. Isidore the Farmer Roman Catholic Church, was involved in many church activities including his service as an usher as well as a Eucharistic minister. Beginning in 1933 Louis had worked on the family farm along with his parents, the late Dominick and Yolanda (Alberghini) Montresor. He then worked for Chatis Glass Co. for 20 years and St. Mary's Regional school until his retirement. After he retired he worked for Susquehanna Bank. He enjoyed Golf, having shot a hole in one at the Eastland Golf Course. He also enjoyed fishing, crabbing and especially spending time with his family and friends.
