Obituary of Frank G. LaMarro

Frank G. LaMarro Sr., 95, of Vineland, passed away peacefully at home with his three chldren by his side on February 24, 2018. Frank was born in Camden, NJ where he graduated from Camden Catholic High School. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, stationed in England where he serviced and maintained U.S. Navy airplanes. Frank was a highly skilled machinist and mold maker during his working years having been employed at several area factories before retiring from O.I./ Kimble Glass Co. in Vineland. hroughtout his life Frank was an avid hunting and fishing enthusiast sharing those great times with his family and friends. H was also a talented musician, playing the saxophone and clarinet in various bands and orchestras for most of his 95 years. In his younger years he played with the Bill Muller Big Band in the Philadelphia / Cherry Hill area and in later years was a member of The Vineland Red White & Blue Band. the Millville American Legion Band, and most recently the Cumberland County College Wind Symphony and Jazz Band. he was predeceased by his parents Marco and maria; his wife Verna; son John "Jim" LaMarro; sisters, Margarite and Rose; and brothers Dominick and Jim. He is survived by his son Frank Jr (Valerie), son MArk, and daughter Verna Armanini. he is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren as well as two nieces and two nephews.
