Obituary of Ronald Donoflio Sr.
Ronald F. Donoflio, Sr., 87, passed peacefully at home on February 10, 2018 after a brief illness. Born and raised in Vineland, Ron built his home and raised his family on Pennsylvania Avenue. He served in the US Army and was an avid hunter, fisherman, plus a NASCAR and dirt stock car fan. Ron was also an exempt volunteer fireman for Vineland Fire Company #2. His friends and acquaintances will fondly remember him as "the Milkman", as for many years he ran State Seal Dairy here in Vineland. He enjoyed spending his summers and weekends with his family and friends in Sweetwater, NJ where he built a vacation home on the Mullica River. After closing his business, Ron worked for the State of NJ Department of Transportation before retiring. He was a parishioner of Christ the Good Shepherd RC Church.
Ron enjoyed his family of four children, Ron Jr. (June), Rickey (Ann), Laurel Bergamo (Bryan), and Juli. Ron had nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents, Frank and Francis (Capazzi), his wife and the mother of his children, Patricia (Kinney), his second wife, Eleanor, and his son, Rickey.
A church visitation will be held on Saturday from 8:45am to 10:45am followed by a funeral mass at 11am from Christ The Good Shepherd Parish - Church Of Saint Isidore The Farmer, 1655 Magnolia Road, Vineland. Entombment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
