Obituary of Dorothy H Consalo

DOROTHY H. (BLITHE) CONSALO, 85, of Vineland, was born in Darby, PA in 1932. She grew up in Philadelphia and Williamstown. She graduated from Glassboro High School in 1951. She worked at The First National Bank of Glassboro and worked with her husband Augie on the family farm and produce business. She was a community volunteer, working for many children's charities. Dorothy was a longtime member of the Church of St. Michael in Minotola. She was a devoted wife and mother. Her greatest joy were her grandsons and her great-granddaughters. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Augustus (Augie) in 2014, and her son William (Billy) in 1984, her parents Louis and Dorothy Blithe, brothers Louis, Robert and Ronald Blithe. Dorothy is survived by her daughter Dottie Kargman and her husband Brian of Newfield, grandson Mark Kargman of Williamstown, grandson David Kargman and wife Leah, great-granddaughters Kyla and Quinn Kargman, of Swedesboro. Dorothy is also survived by her sister Florence Schauer, sisters- in- law Florence Blithe, Mildred Consalo, Elaine D'Ottavio, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Vincent and Carol Consalo, Sr. Dorothy is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Wednesday October 18 from 9:30am to 12pm followed by a religious service at 12 noon at the Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
