Obituary of Brian Tobolski

Brian Tobolski, 53, of Vineland, went home to the Lord on Tuesday October 10, 2017 at Cooper Hospital. Brian was born on June 12, 1964 to Loretta (Lorito) and the late Eugene Tobolski. Brian attended Vineland Public Schools and graduated from Vineland High School in 1982. He last worked at PEG Glass in Vineland. Brian was an active member of the Knights of Columbus Council #2531, where he served as a past Grand Knight and current financial secretary. He was also the comptroller for Knights of Columbus 4th degree Bishop John Carroll Assembly # 654 and a member of its Color Corps & Honor Guard. Brian was a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish where he was recently elected to their Parish Council. As a youngster he was involved with the Vineland Little league and the Babe Ruth League. he enjoyed the neighborhood band where he played guitar. He loved the band Rush and contunued to go to concerts whenever possible. Brian was probably one of the biggest Eagles football fans there was faithfully watching season after season. Brian never gave up after so many health adversities and was always the upbeat person and always looked at the glass half full. After his first leg amputation he helped form the S. J. Amputee Support Group for those who where having a hard time accepting their disability. Two weeks ago when again he faced the amputation of his second leg he was in contact with his prosthetist to come to his home and measure him up for his 2nd new leg never giving up hope of walking. But sadly his heart gave out and we lost our hero.
