Obituary of Mary Kapral

Mary (Patzuk) Kapral, 92, of Vineland and formerly of Williamstown, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2017 at Inspira Medical Center. She was born in 1924 in Montgomery Co, PA to the late Charles and Catherine (Rovaluk) Patzuk. Mary proudly served her country with the US Navy during World War II working as an Aviation Machinist Mate. She earned a Victory Medal and American Campaign Medal prior to her honorable discharge in 1946. She also attended Hunter College in NY. Mary and her late husband John raised their four children in Nicetown, Pa, prior to moving to Williamstown, NJ. Mary is survived by her four children, John Kapral (Peggy), Dolly (predeceased son-in-law John "Ukey") Rymarczuk, Cathy Williams (Ron), and Andy (Dot) Kapral; grandchildren Brian, Shaun, Heather, Shannon, Megan, Devon, Dawn, Johnny, Tanya, Jamie, and 19 great-grandchildren; her brother Jimmy Patzuk and sister Betty Fitzpatrick. Mary was predeceased by her loving husband, of 52 years, John Kapral; sister, Annie Young and her brothers, Al Odessa, Adam Patzuk & Andy Patzuk. A church visitation will be held on Saturday January 21, from 9am to 11am followed by funeral mass at 11am from Our Lady of Peace Parish, the Church of St. Mary's, 32 Carroll Avenue, Williamstown. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Ukrainian Cemetery, Abington, PA.
