Obituary of Helen Melnyk

Helen (Chalow) Melnyk, 96, of Vineland, passed away on September 11, 2016 at home. She was born in Philadelphia to the late Peter and Mary Chalow, moving to Vineland as a child where she remained a lifelong resident. Helen was a graduate of Vineland High School class of 1938. She was employed for Bell Telephone of Philadelphia and later as a secretary for Shirley Eves Center in Millville before retiring. Helen enjoyed trips to the Atlantic City Casinos and she loved polka dancing at the church dances. She was a member of St. Nicholas Ukranian Church where she served as secretary of its club. Helen especially enjoyed family, friends and family dinners around the holidays.
