Obituary of William "Willie" Amadei

William "Williw"Amadei, 90, of Vineland, passed away on September 16, 2015 at home surrounded by his family. he was a graduate of Vineland High School in 1944. Williw worked as an auto mechanic for many local repair shops; including Allonardo Brothers, Cresci Motors, Pepe Chevrolet, Levari Trucking, Fisher-Elkins and Gordon Cadillac. As a master certified technican, he specialized in Cadillacs and air conditioning systems for which many people sought him out to do the their repairs on vehicles at home. Evening hours after work, Willie headed out to his garden, which was more than a small farm. he enjoyed his garden from planting saeeds in the hot beds, to cultivating on his tractor. many reaped the rewards of his garden. Any visitor who asked for a few vegetables would leave with a full bag. Willie always knew how to fix everything. If there was a part that was needed or a particular nut or screw, he was sure to have it. he especially loved his grandchildren and great- grandchildren. All of the kids fought for a chance to sit on his lap and vbe fed crackers or go on a tractor ride around the yard. It was always funny to see his big mechanic hands holding the tiny hand of a child
