Robert Zukerman

Obituary of Robert Zukerman

Robert Zukerman, 69, of Vineland passed away peacefully at home Sunday, July 12, 2015 after battling illness for nearly a year. He is survived by his wife, Sonya, three sons Ethan, Benjamin and Josh, stepdaughter Jennifer and her husband Adam, grandchildren Mose and Eloise and brother and sister-in-law Morris and Karen and their daughters Laura, Sarah and Alexandra. Bob was born December 17, 1945 and grew up in Vineland, New Jersey. He attended Rutgers College for undergraduate studies and completed graduate work in business at the University of Colorado. He spent his life dedicated to a family business started by his grandfather. In fact, until his last morning, he was on the computer doing work for Zukerman Foodservice. Bob was a member of Beth Israel in Vineland. He enjoyed annual family ski vacations in Steamboat, Colorado and summertime in Margate, New Jersey. Bob lived his life with a high level of integrity and honesty, loved history and classical music and relished in some good old fashioned comedy. He'd often be heard quoting from one of his favorite films, Young Frankenstein, "Put the candle back!"
