Obituary of Zane R Osborne

Zane Osborne, 75, of Vineland, passed away on April 6, 2015 at Jefferson University Hospital. He was a dedicated and devoted father. When his children were young he coached and was on the board of the Vineland Soccer Association and the Capri Swim Club executive board. He was also instrumental in reopening the Temple Beth Hillel Synagogue and served on its executive board for several years. He enjoyed fishing, CB Radio and playing poker. He had a passion for sports and spent many weekends selling cards and plaques at card shows, vendor events and the flea market. He had a generous spirit and donated items to schools and basket auctions whenever he was asked. He also was on the Board of Directors for the Vineland Developmental Center. Zane loved helping everyone, but his greatest love was the time spent with his grandchildren. He is survived by his daughter Wendy Osborne; sons & daughters-in-law, Brian & Jennifer Osborne and David & Jenna Osborne; grandchildren, Charlotte Osborne, Christopher Hoffner, Regan Osborne and Riley Osborne; brother & sister-in-law, Shirley & Mort Bree; sisters-in-law, Elaine Litwack, Ruth Osborne & Sally Osborne and brother-in-law, Mel Brody. Zane was predeceased by his wife, Sandra (Litwack) Osborne in February; brothers, Howard Osborne & Malcolm "Mike" Osborne; nephew, Zachary Osborne; brother-in-law, Ronald Litwack; and his sister-in-law, Susan Brody. A Funeral Home Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from 2pm to 3pm followed by a Memorial Service at 3pm from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland.
