Obituary of Anna Merighi

Anna Merighi, 90, of Vineland passed away peacefully on Monday, September 29, 2014. Anna was born in Salter, Italy. She immigrated to the U.S. in 1929, at the age of 5 years, with her mother and five siblings. She was a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Church (formerly St. Isidore) and was a longtime member of the South Vineland Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Anna's interests included listening to Italian arias, watching classic Hollywood films from the 1940s and 1950s, and spending time with her children and extended family. She is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law John & Lynn and Lawrence & Suzanne, her daughter & son-in-law Arlene and Dennis Feaster, and her son Joseph; seven grandchildren, Allison Merighi, Jason and wife Lia Merighi, Caroline and husband Kevin Hagen, Matthew Merighi, Ryan Feaster, Michael and wife Danielle Feaster, and Ryan Tomasso; and two great-granddaughters, Makenna and Charlotte Feaster. Anna is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law Ezio & Rita Bertoldi and Carlo & JoAnn Bertoldi, her sister Aldina Bertoldi, and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Bertoldi. Anna was predeceased by her loving husband Isaac of 65 years, her parents Joseph and Carolina Bertoldi, and her siblings Mario, Pio, and Lena Bertoldi. A Church Visitation will be on Thursday, October 2 from 9:30am to 11am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:15 am on Thursday, October 2 at Christ The Good Shepherd Parish - Church Of Saint Isidore The Farmer, 1655 Magnolia Road, Vineland, NJ. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland, NJ. Donations in memory of Anna may be made to Inspira Hospice, 1138 E. Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ 08360.
