Henry "Hank" Mazzoni, 81, of Bridgeton NJ, died suddenly on Sunday, February 25, 2018 as a result of a car accident. He was born in Landisville NJ and was a lifelong resident of the local area. Henry enjoyed the outdoors, he loved deer hunting and belonged to the Penny Pot Ten and Go Easy Gun Clubs He also loved fishing, going to Phillies games, playing slots at the casino and just hanging around with his longtime friend's playing cards. He served in the Army National Guard as a platoon Sergeant from 1957-1960. At the time of his honorable discharge he was a master rifle marksman and was also awarded the NJ Medal of Merit. Henry had been retired for several years, working as a service manager for Sasdelli Oil.
Henry was predeceased by his wife Ann; his parents Ubaldo and Giovanna; brother Gilbert and his sisters, Josephine, Doris and Lillian. He is survived by his children, Paul Mazzoni (Andrea) of Vineland, Brian Mazzoni (Kimberly) of Mays Landing, Doreen Gordon (Peter) of Monroe Twp. and Mark Mazzoni; stepdaughters, Linda Jesperson and Carol Wolbert and his nine grandchildren, Brian Mazzoni Jr. of Philadelphia, Michael Mazzoni of Mays Landing, Matthew Gordon of Orlando and Katie Gordon of Monroe Twp. Chrissie, Danielle, Kyle, Craig, and Scott, and two great-grandchildren Tyler, and Rylee.
A funeral home visitation will be held on Monday from 9:30am to 11:30am followed by a funeral service at 11:30am from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Entombment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
