Leo P. "Tutor" Brunozzi, Jr., 74, a lifelong resident of Vineland, passed away at home after a short battle with ALS on December 24, 2017, surrounded by his family. Leo graduated from Vineland High School in 1961. He played varsity football on both defense and offense. He played a big part in winning the SJ Group 4 Championships two years in a row in 1959 and 1960. He retired from Kimble Glass after 42 years working as a machine operator. Leo loved going to the beach in Ocean City. He loved riding his bike everywhere and people would often see him riding to Wawa. He loved to exercise; loved the nightlife, dancing the night away. He also loved to travel and was a big Eagles fan.
He is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Lisa & Mike Copley; daughter, Gina Brunozzi; grandchildren, Erika Copley, Melanie Arcidiacono; Michael Copley, Kara Arcidiacono and Evan Lauber and his two great-grandchildren, Izabella and Alivia. Leo was predeceased by his parents, Concetta & Leo Brunozzi and his brothers, Dominick & Samuel Brunozzi.
Funeral home visitations will be held on Thursday evening from 6pm to 8pm and again on Friday morning from 9:15am to 10:15am at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am from Saint Padre Pio Parish - Church Of St. Mary's, 736 Union Road, Vineland. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
