Biography
William J. Myers, 80, of Milmay passed away peacefully Friday evening surrounded by his loving family. Born in Vineland to the late William and Rita (Palaver) Myers, where he was a resident before moving to Milmay in 2004. William worked for the Kramer Beverage Company, and then as President for Tri-County Security where he retired after 30 years of dedicated service. His hobbies included hunting in Pennsylvania with his sons, water skiing, fishing, camping, bowling or any activity that had to do with spending time with his family. He also loved to play cards.
William is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia C. Myers, his children, Bruce and wife Terri, Thomas and wife Diane, Annamarie Myers, William Myers, David and wife Jessica, Cynthia and husband Thomas Swenk, and Cheryl and husband Victor Chalow, his sister Rita and husband Thomas Soltys. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. William was predeceased by his brother Robert, and sisters, Marie Zadra, Lorraine Vassel, Carmella Solotti, Rosemarie Ruberti, Patricia Walzer and a great granddaughter Riley.
. A church Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 8, 2012 from 8:45 to 10:45 At St Padre Pio Parish, church of Our Lady of Pompeii, 4680 Dante Avenue Vineland.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am in the church.
Burial will take place in Our Lady of Pompeii Cemetery.
