Biography

Beverly (Feinstein) Lipman, 60, of Washington Township passed away on January 11, 2012 at Fox Chase Cancer Center. She was born in 1951 in Flushing, NY to Leo and Golde Feinstein and was raised with her 3 siblings in Haworth, NJ. Beverly married her soul mate, Leonard, on November 11, 1973. A graduate from American University, Beverly went on to teach at Dr. J.P. Cleary middle school for 33 years. During her time as a teacher she made a positive impact on the lives of many students and faculty. She was recognized as Teacher of the year because of her love and dedication to her students. She joined the teacher sorority ADK where she enjoyed raising money for scholarships and making friends. Beverly was an active member in her synagogue, B'Nai Tikvah-Beth Israel, and cherished the different positions she held. She was extremely grateful to receive the honor of emerging leader award from the sisterhood. Beverly enjoyed attending teas and other events with her dear Red Hatters. She had a love for gardening, attending the theater, and eating out with Leonard. Beverly surrounded herself with family and friends whenever she could and drank from the cup of life. Her most recent accomplishments include walking her daughter, Jennifer, down the aisle to marry Ismael, and seeing the birth of her granddaughter Isabella Rose. Beverly enjoyed life and lived by her motto, "Life is short, eat desert first." She was a loving supportive wife, an amazing mother, a devoted grandmother, an incredible sister, dedicated daughter, and faithful friend.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Leonard Lipman, Washington Township; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Ismael Bernier, Marlton; granddaughter, Isabella Rose Bernier, Marlton; grandpuppy, Princess, Marlton; brother and sister-n-law, Harold and Julie Feinstein, Brooklyn; sister and brother-n-law, Rona and Jeffrey Sands, East Windsor; sister and brother-n-law, Joan and Paul Campbell, FL; sister-n-law, Andrea Lipman, Holland; nieces Melissa Sands, Cambridge; Nicole Lipman, Holland; Maree Campbell; nephew, Justin Sands, Flemington; .

The family will sit Shiva at Beverly's late residence at 7:00PM on January 15, 16, and 17th.

A Funeral Home Visitation will be held on Sunday from 11:30am to 1:00pm followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 pm from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Alliance Cemetery, Norma.
