Biography
Alice (Adams) Robinson, 80, of Vineland passed away peacefully on January 5, 2012 at Barclay Friends in West Chester, PA. She was born in 1931 in Atlantic City to the late Edward and Mary (Cook) Adams. Alice attended Westminster Choir College and received a Bachelors Degree in Music in 1953 and a Masters Degree in Music (Choral Conducting) in 1954. She married Darius Robinson in 1955. For 25 years, Alice served as the Choir Director at Sacred Heart Church from 1971-1996. She taught voice, piano and organ lessons in Vineland for many years.
She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Anne & Mark Adel; daughter, Mary Alice Robinson; son, Edward Robinson; daughter & son-in-law, Christine & Greg Leinweber; daughter & son-in-law, Patricia & James Piccone; son & daughter-in-law, Darius Robinson & Kelley Donaghy; 17 grandchildren, Heather, David, Lauren, Erina, Titian, Gabriela, Katy, Christine, Stephanie, Daniel, Stephen, Jay, Matthew, Allison, Madolyn, Kalysta & Phoebe; and 1 great-grandson, Dale. Alice is predeceased by her husband Darius D. Robinson in 2008
A Church Visitation will be held on Monday from 11am to 12pm followed by a Funeral Mass at 12 noon from Christ The Good Shepherd Parish - Church Of Saint Isidore The Farmer, 1655 Magnolia Road, Vineland, NJ
Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing, NJ
