Biography
Marvine Antonette (Melton) Souder, 77, of Williamstown, passed away on December 27, 2011 at Bishop McCarthy Residence. Born 1934, in Montgomery, Alabama, to the late Allison & Lillian Melton. She graduated from Business College, and then worked for the welfare department in Georgia. She was a homemaker who enjoyed her family, but the greatest loves of her life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was happily anticipating the birth of 2 more great-grandchildren. Marvine was the first participant in the Life Program at SJHC; she made many friends and was able to live her life as full as possible until her recent decline in health. Her kindness and warm spirit touched anyone who met her and left a lasting impression.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Becky and Dennis DelFava, Millville, NJ;, Holi and Carl Owens, Williamstown, NJ; Kelly and Bill Muller, NC; Robin and Earl Urban, Williamstown, NJ; and daughters, Hillary Souder, Vineland, NJ; and Tracy Souder, FL; sister and brother-in-law, Murrell and Gordon Leonard, GA; sister, Michelle Humphries, TN; 11 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Robert Souder; her parents, Lillian and Allison Melton; brother, Lonnie Melton and her sister, Diane Melton.
Service and burial were private at the convenience of the family.

I will truly miss Marvine.I am so glad to have gotten to know her and her family, albeit in the twilight of her life. SJHS_LIFE is a better place for having had her here!!
