Samuel Andrew Conti, Jr.
Samuel Andrew Conti, Jr. passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at home. Born in Vineland to Lorraine (DiLucca) Conti and the late Samuel Andrew Conti, Sr., Sam was a life-long Richland resident.
Sam was a graduate of Vineland High School and was an enthusiastic NASCAR fan who loved watersports, especially jet-skiing. He especially loved spending his leisure time with his daughter Kelly and granddaughter, Kara. He will be greatly missed by his work family at American Flux and Metal and all who knew him.
He is survived by his devoted mother, Lorraine Di Lucca Conti of Buena, loving daughter, Kelly Conti McFarland of Vineland and cherished grand-daughter, Kara McFarland. He is also survived by a brother and his wife, Bruce and Kathy Conti, Sr. of Cedarville, sister and her husband, Loretta and Dale Lagerholm of Vineland, and a sister, Annette Katinos of Pitman. He also leaves behind his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews who loved him dearly.
He was predeceased by his father, Samuel Andrew Conti, Sr. in 1981.
Funeral home visitations will be held on Tuesday from 7:00 pm to 9:00pm and Wednesday 9:15 am to 10:15 am at Rone Funeral Service.
A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am from Saint Padre Pio
Parish - Church Of Our Lady Of Pompeii, 4680 Dante Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville.
