Mauretta Porreca, 102 passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2010. She was born in Boma, Province of Cheti, Italy to the late Dominico and Madeline (Vetula) Gentili. She would have reached her 103rd birhtday on February 13th. Mauretta was a homemaker and loved gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by son & his wife, Antonio & Teresa Porreca; daughter & husband, Josephine & Jerry Davi; daughter , Camela Porreca; son , Domenico Porreca; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter. Mauretta was predeceased by her husband , Petro Porreca; granddaughter, Laurie Porreca; grandson, Steve Davi and granddaughter Beth Davi.


A Funeral Liturgy will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am from Divine Mercy Parish, 23 W. Chestnut Ave, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.

There will be no visitation prior to the liturgy
