Louis Vincent D'Angelo, 77 years of age, who last resided in Mt. Juliet, TN, died Friday, January 29, 2010 at the Gardens Memory Care Facility.
Louis was born on September 28, 1932 in Vineland, to the late Dr. Anthony and Margaret (DiLemmo) D'Angelo. He attended Sacred Heart Grammar and High School, Lawrenceville Prep School, Georgetown University and Pierce Business School. Louis proudly served his country as a member of the US Coast Guard from 1952 to 1954. He married June Vaughan of Bridgeton in December 1960. Louis retired from the State of NJ, Division of Taxation in 1984 and relocated to South Florida. The D'Angelo's relocated to Middle Tennessee in 2008 due to illness. Lou was an avid golfer and tennis player throughout his life. He was a Charter member of the Buena Vista Country Club until 1964 and was a member of the Legacy Golf and Tennis Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Lou is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, June; his sons Anthony and Louis; his daughter Margie; his grandson Kevin and several cousins.
Louis was predeceased by his parents, aunts, uncles and several cousins.

A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2010, at Sacred Heart Church, Landis Avenue, Vineland at 10 am. There will be no visiting hours. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

A reception for the celebration of Louis' life will take place at Lucia's Restaurant immediately following internment.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Bernadette's Church in Port St. Lucie, FL
on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 1:00 pm. A reception for the celebration of Lou's life will be held at Sam Snead's Restaurant in PGA Village immediately following the memorial service.
