Virginia (Albano) Caterina, 82, died January 19, 2010 at Bishop McCarthy Residence in Vineland. Mrs. Caterina was born May 2, 1927, in Vineland, New Jersey an only child of Rocco and Rose (Koehler) Albano. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School and was employed for the Vineland Board of Education. She made her home at 980 S. Main Road, in Vineland for 82 years. She was a member of St. Isidore's Church and enjoyed reading, the beach, gardening and collecting antiques. She devoted much of her time and energy caring for her five children and husband. She cared for her ill mother for twenty years in her home.
Mrs. Caterina is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth J. Caterina; 5 Children; Michael, Alan, Beth Ann, Karl and Neal; daughters-in-law, Joan Caterina and Leannah Harper; four grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. She will be missed by her family and everyone who knew her. Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the Family.
